This note covers the newsletter signup on settleinnorway.com.
Data controller: Settle in Norway. Contact: [email protected]
What we store: your email address, the date and time you signed up, that you ticked the consent box, and which page you signed up from. Nothing else: no name, no tracking cookies from us.
Why: only to send you the Settle in Norway newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We don't sell or share your address.
Where: in a database hosted by Cloudflare (our web host), located in western Europe.
How long: until you unsubscribe. Then the record is deleted straight away, not just marked inactive.
Your rights: you can withdraw consent at any time, and you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
