Mobile phone plan

• Start prepaid: no credit check, no lock-in – often easiest right after arrival.
• Subscription later: usually needs ID (or BankID) and a credit check; a D number is in most cases enough.
• Three companies own networks: Telenor, Telia, Ice. Others (Talkmore, Chilimobil, MyCall, OneCall, PlussMobil) rent capacity.
• Lock-in up to 12 months is common with a subsidised phone. EU/EEA roaming is generally "roam like at home".
